A recent jaunt to Sypes Canyon, which is covered in snow for most of the trail. In the first photo, I'm in the narrow path between the rocks. There's a lot of snow on the trail, but not much where there's any sun. Still, The Man and The Lady were wearing their YakTraks... they don't have giant paws like we do, and frankly, they do slide a lot anyway. Plus they're slow. We are ALWAYS ahead of them. That lets us eat as much horse poop as we can without getting yelled at. In the second photo, we're wearing our new "don't shoot us, we're not deer" collars. MamaLu is rather deer-shaped these days, so it's a necessary precaution.
